Founded by Nicholas Overall in 1985 and trading as “Arun Holdings” since 1992 we have over 35 years experience trading in historic racing cars and classic cars. Bought by Paul Brzezinski in 2018 with Nicholas continuing as a Consultant Arun Holdings continues to offer a unique personal service to make buying or selling your classic or racing car an exciting, rewarding and hassle free experience.
Our aims are :
- To source many different types of historic racing cars and classic cars.
- To give advice on price, market conditions and the joys and pit falls of classic and race car ownership.
- To organise collection of your car, prepare it for sale, market it and organise for after sales delivery.
- Project manage restorations, repairs, routine maintenance and race preparation of your car using our network of specialists.
Adverts are placed in well known classic car magazines and on a number of websites which includes this one. Many of the cars sold are through word of mouth via our numerous contacts within the classic and historic race car world.
Our Founder and Consultant Nicholas’ passion for cars and racing started at an early age when aged 17 he bought an Aley Mini for the then huge sum of £ 400.00. He drove the Mini to the track, raced it and then, with luck, drove it home again afterwards.
Since then Nicholas has successfully raced many different cars – his favourite being a Formula 2 Brabham BT35. He is a member of many car clubs and served 6 years as vice chairman and ten years as chairman of The Historic Sports Car Club.
As a result he has a vast knowledge of classic and historic cars and is an accomplished racer.
Paul is also a lifelong petrol head and classic car enthusiast who since 2018 has taken over running Arun Holdings. Paul graduated in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Birmingham and spent the last 30 years globetrotting in the upstream oil exploration business. Always passionate about “old” cars. Paul decided to fulfil a lifetime ambition and get into the classic car business. Paul has a small and varied collection of classics that he lusted after while growing up and still doesn’t own a modern car.
